PROFESSOR NIGEL MACLENNAN

Professor Nigel MacLennan is a consultant at London Metropolitan University. He provides psychotherapy for leaders and executives, globally via Zoom, WhatsApp, or Skype. He qualified with a Diploma in Psychotherapy 35 years ago, and shortly after completed his honours degree in psychology and has been practising psychology since. Along the way he has written many books in the field of applied psychology including 'Counselling for Managers', 'The Perfect Gift', 'The Perfect Coach', 'Coaching and Mentoring', 'Self-responsibility Therapy', and 'i Shrink', and other original works in the field of psychology – the research for which led to the award of Nigel’s doctorate from Middlesex University.

Dr Amoneeta Beckstein

Dr Amoneeta Beckstein

Dr Amoneeta Beckstein completed his PhD in counselling psychology. His dissertation examined the influence of decision-making style and self-construal on the subjective happiness of Native Americans. As a scientist-practitioner, Amoneeta’s research and practice mutually inform each other. His research interests include Native American psychology, positive psychology, multiculturalism, life balance, underrepresented groups’ leadership development and educational success, and understanding and augmenting subjective happiness. His research aims to contribute to marginalised groups’ growth, resilience, and life enhancement.

Shalhavit Simcha-Cohen

Shalhavit-Simcha Cohen is a multi-award-winning PhD researcher at the University of Edinburgh, musician, and creative director. She did her master's degree in Digital Media Design at Harvard University. Passionate about people’s mental health and multimedia, Shalhavit-Simcha is the winner of Harvard University’s Bok Prize for Public Service and founder of PosiFest, an online well-being festival.

DR BERNEY WILKINSON

Dr Berney Wilkinson is co-host of Psychreg Podcast. Dr Wilkinson earned his PhD in school psychology from the University of South Florida in 2005, specialising in paediatric psychology. He went on to complete a postgraduate programme and is a Diplomate with the American Board of School Neuropsychology. He is a licensed psychologist in Florida and owns a private practice that includes other psychologists and counsellors. He is Associate Editor of Psychreg Journal of Psychology.

DR GUILA CLARA KESSOUS

UNESCO Artist for Peace (France)

GUILA CLARA KESSOUS

Dr Guila Clara Kessous was appointed UNESCO Artist for Peace in January 2012, in recognition of her commitment to promoting and defending human rights through art.

She finished her PhD in Ethics and Aesthetics from Harvard University.

In her capacity as a UNESCO Artist for Peace, she defends the values of human rights, peace and justice as well as the teaching of genocidal realities and slavery.

In addition, she collaborated with Claudie Perlot to raise funds for the education of girls and women in Africa.

Dr Laura Jenkins

Dr Laura Jenkins

Laura is a Teaching Associate at Loughborough University. She completed her PhD in Psychology at Northumbria University in Newcastle where her research in working memory started to develop. Laura’s research interests include looking at whether visual working memory is purely visual in nature, implementing experimental and neurological methods in her research. She also sits on the editorial board of Psychreg Journal of Psychology.

Maxwell Guttman

Maxwell Guttman

Maxwell Guttman teaches social work at Fordham University. He is also a mental health correspondent for Psychreg where he shares his insights on recovery and healing based from his lived experience of schizophrenia – a journey which started as an undergraduate student at Binghamton University. His diagnosis of schizophrenia wasn’t formally recognised until he was admitted to the state hospital in upstate New York. On his spare time, Max blogs on self-management at Mental Health Affairs.

Siobhain Crosbie is an experienced therapist practising psychotherapy for almost 20 years in private practice. She's also a qualified Mediator, Family therapist, qualified Supervisor and Author. Prior to joining Uniglobe College as a programme director, he worked as academic director for Santwona College, and as managing director for Oranz consulting.

Dr Marie Chollier is a clinical psychologist, psychotherapist, and sexologist. She has been working in the fields of mental health and sexual health for over a decade. She currently works as a Senior Lecturer in Psychological Trauma at the University of Chester. She has also been an executive board member of the UNESCO Chair for Sexual Health and Human Rights. Dr Chollier is committed to the dissemination of knowledge and ethics for all.

Dr Sangeeta Kaur is the founder of Yayasan Health on World, and is the Chief Engagement Officer of Emerging Journey Asia. Dr Kaur is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Association of Psychological Educational Counsellors.She is behind the development of the first mental health conference in Malaysia.
